Thanks for introducing Grandpa Spin to us. I really enjoyed reading the sections about his childhood. Its so interesting to me how different life was back then. The erector set reminded me of present day Lego's. Of course I noticed the absence of him being entertained by video games and a steady stream of TV. If he had that type of childhood (kind many children do now), he probably never would have ventured outside of the house and made friends with the street cat. I think that was so sweet that even to this day he remembers Princess and how soothing her purring was. He sounds like a very sweet man. Great interview!
