Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care (First-Year Internship) - January 2012 to June 2012
Completed 400 hours as a hospice intern under the direct supervision of a hospice MSW. I was responsible for completing the bereavement telephone calls to assess client needs, and provide individual or family support to culturally diverse clients. Assisted with and participated in hospice annual memorial service and co-facilitation of bereavement support groups. In addition, I gathered and recorded patient preference information from family members for the hospice dementia program.

The job requires all associates to maintain floor standards by replenishing products, as well as the general appearance and cleanliness of department. The job also requires associates to develop and maintain clientele by having an understanding of the knowledge of merchandise within the store.

The job required all associates to maintain product knowledge for customers, and insure that the customer is satisfied with each purchase. I also took initiative and went beyond what was expected.
Server/Hostess Thai Cuisine April 2006- December 2007
As a server /cashier, the job required long hours, customer communication, and food service knowledge. Some responsibilities included hiring and training new staff members, managing cash flow, answering telephones, and maintaining a clean and friendly work place.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:
2009- Present Helping Others Professional Enterprise (H.O.P.E), Macomb, MI
I have volunteer experience with agencies such as: Habitat for Humanity, Hope Center, World Medical Relief, Focus Hope, St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen, and various other organizations through H.O.P.E. In April of 2010, I traveled to Louisiana for 9 days with H.O.P.E members. I helped rebuild homes and talk with the families .I saw firsthand the devastation that the hurricane had on many victims within that community.
